Student Services

  • At Carroll, we are committed to your success. And that means providing all the support you need for a successful college experience. Advisors oversee programming and services that help you stay on path — no matter what your goals. In fact, you will be expected to meet with your advisor at different credit milestones —15, 30, and 45  credits to ensure you are on track towards getting your degree and reaching your transfer goals.

    Student Basics

  • Student ID Cards

College photo IDs are issued to all credit students that have registered and arranged payment for the term’s tuition (including paid in full, enrolled in FACTS (a payment plan), or received approval for financial aid and/or loan payment).

    Photo IDs are used for:

    • Use of the college Library and online resources
    • Use of the Fitness Center
    • To record attendance at various campus activities
    • Security
    • College IDs may be used at various stores and restaurants for student discounts.

College photo IDs are valid as long as the student remains eligible.* Students should always carry their college photo IDs on campus. These IDs must be presented upon request by college officials. Student Aides will take their college photo ID to the Financial Aid Office (A114) to receive a sticker designating the semester and year in which they are employed.

How to Get Your Photo ID

Students may pick up college photo IDs at the Photo ID Office during the hours listed below. The Photo ID Office is located in Room L183 on the main level of the Library in the Learning Resource Center. There is no cost for the initial college photo ID. A valid photo ID, such as a current driver’s license or passport, is required to receive your college photo ID. Headwear (except religious) and sunglasses are not permitted for the ID photograph.
