Students Have Tutoring Options at Carroll Community College
Students at Carroll Community College (Carroll) who need help with their studies can turn to the college’s Academic Center for help from professional tutors, peer tutors, and for online tutoring.
The popular service, which is provided at no additional cost to participating students, has grown to 400 requests for appointment tutoring. In fall semester, there have been almost 1,000 visits by students requesting drop-in tutoring in Math, Science and English. Students also access help 24/7 for Math and Chemistry through Carroll’s online tutorials. The Academic Center has 62 tutors, which include peer and professional tutors.
