Carroll Community College Offers Fast Track Program

Starting in June 2007, Carroll Community College's Education program is offering a fast-track program for secondary education conditional teachers and career changers. Students who complete the following coursework and a year of successful teaching in a Maryland State Department Education (MSDE) accredited school system as well as pass appropriate Praxis exams can apply for MSDE certification. These courses are open to all students with a minimum of a bachelor's degree. Students who are conditional teachers and wish to complete elementary or early childhood certification can set up an individual fast-track program with an Education advisor, Marlene Welch (mwelch@carrollcc.edu), Susan Sies (ssies@carrollcc.edu) or Jackie Moore (jmoore@carrollcc.edu.)
