Scholarship Fund Established at Carroll Community College
The Carroll Community College Foundation proudly announces that Jim and Lee Sturgill, principals of Sturgill and Associates, LLP recently established a scholarship fund. It will annually benefit two students, majoring in accounting, who are completing their studies at Carroll and plan to transfer to a four-year college to further their studies in the accounting field.
Sturgill and Associates, LLP, locally owned, was founded in 1993 and is a full-service accounting firm. Sturgill & Associates has offices in three locations: Westminster, Maryland, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania and McLean, Va. All offices have the resources of a full-service accounting firm with practice concentrations that reflect the special needs of groups of clients and industries.
The Carroll Community College Foundation's purpose is to sponsor and promote educational and charitable activities to fund student scholarships, faculty development, instructional equipment, critical capital requirements, and other needs of the college.
