AutoCAD Now Offered at Carroll

AUTOCAD LEVEL 1 AND LEVEL 2 NOW
OFFERED AT CARROLL COMMUNITY COLLEGE STARTING IN FEBRUARY

 AutoCAD is an essential tool in many industries, including mechanical and civil engineering and architecture. Carroll Community College will offer both AutoCAD Level 1 and AutoCAD Level 2 starting in late February.

AutoCAD Level 1

Prepare for an entry-level drafting position. In this introduction to computer-aided drafting (CAD), you learn to set up new drawings; create and modify geometry; store and retrieve predefined shapes; place, rotate and scale objects; add text and dimensions; use layers and coordinate systems; and plot to scale. Class utilizes AutoCAD 2007. Prerequisite: Proficient in a Windows environment and comfortable with mouse use.

AutoCAD Level 2

Expand your AutoCAD design ability! Students will learn how to create 3D designs using AutoCAD's 3D modeling functions. Topics include: utilizing the Z-axis, creating 3D wireframe, surface, and solid modeling, and Modeling and Design tools and techniques. Prerequisite: AutoCAD Level 1 or equivalent experience.
