Carroll Community College Announces Travel Abroad in 2009
Students, faculty, staff, and community members are invited to sign up for a Travel Study Opportunity in spring, 2009. The trip is sponsored by Carroll Community College. The trip to London and Paris departs Friday, April 3, 2009, during the college's spring break. The excursion offers the opportunity for vacationing abroad, as well as the chance to sign up for related credit courses in English-160 and Hist-160.
The cost for the trip is $2,243 for travelers under age 22, and $2,558 for those over age 22.
Included in the cost of the trip:
- Round-trip airfare
- Eight overnight stays in hotels
- European breakfast daily
- Three dinners
- Tour Director
- Guided visits to London, Oxford colleges, Paris, Fountainebleau
- Walking tours of London and Montmartre
- Eurostar high-speed train ride
- Optional excursion to Chartres and Loire Valley castles
