Carroll Community College's Drama Department will present a One-Act Play Festival featuring four plays produced by Carroll Community College students. The play festival will be held on May 2 at 7:30 p.m.; May 3 at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; and May 4 at 3 p.m. The free performances include:
Sure Thing by David Ives is about the absurd dating of a couple trying to find connections in comic timing.
Fun by Howard Korder is about the night-long quest of two teenagers seeking desperately to find "fun."
Post-Its by Pal Dooley and Winnie Holzman is about a comically modern interpretation of A.R. Gurney's Love Letters.
Sister Mary Ignatius Explains It All for You by Christopher Durang is about an irreverent romp through the pitfalls of Catholicism.
The performances are recommended for mature audiences and not intended for small children.
