Carroll Community College Offers Fall French Class

Westminster, Md., June 5, 2009

Carroll Community College is offering a fall semester French class that will prepare students to learn basic French; study French foods, art, and culture;and speak and write the language.

French 101, Elementary French 1, will be offered during the fall, 2009 semester on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5 p.m. to 6:20 p.m., which may suit the needs of working students. Elementary French 2 is offered during the spring term.

This three-credit course is for those who have little or no knowledge of the French language. It provides a solid foundation in grammar, as well as the four language skills: listening, reading, writing, and speaking.
