Carroll Community College Instructor to Perform One-Man Play
"Constructed" Showcases Creative Work of Faculty Member

Westminster, Md., Feb. 3, 2010-On Feb. 19, 2010, Carroll Community College adjunct faculty member Darren Goins will perform a one-man show titled "Constructed" for one performance only. Goins is the creator of the theatrical work. The performance will take place at 7:30 p.m. in the Theater in the Scott Center. Admission is free and open to general audiences.

This nationally-recognized performance on male identity weaves five monologues together to answer the age-old question of what it means to be a man.

"In the face of a changing social landscape, what it means to be a man has changed through various demands on power, desire, and production which face men today," said Goins, Constructed Creator and Carroll adjunct professor.
