Carroll Community College Honors Outstanding Education Scholars
Westminster, Md., Five students in the Education Department at Carroll Community College were recently honored with the Elizabeth E. Little Outstanding Education Scholar Award. A recognition breakfast was held on Friday, May 14, 2010. The awardees were:
" Alissa Perez, Associate of Arts in Teaching/Elementary Education
" Charles Lathe, Associate of Arts/Teacher Education
" Nicholas Earp, Associate of Arts in Teaching/Elementary Education
" Megan Kushel, Associate of Arts in Teaching/Early Childhood Education
" Cierra Farley, Associate of Arts/Teacher Education
The criteria for the award include maintaining a high standard of academic work; modeling professional behaviors; and representing the Education Department in an exemplary manner.
