Carroll Community College Invites Community to Attend
"Maryland and the Civil War: A Regional Perspective"
Westminster, Md., The Historical Society of Carroll County and Carroll Community College present "Maryland and the Civil War, A Regional Perspective," now in its 14th year. The event at Carroll Community College focuses on the diverse facets of the Civil War and its impact on the region and puts a human face on the war through speakers and displays.
The event will be held Saturday, March 19, 9:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. (doors open at 9 a.m.). The cost is $35 for Carroll County residents and Maryland senior adults age 60+; $40 for non-Carroll County residents; $45 for non-Maryland residents; and $45 for non-U.S. Citizens ($35 with copy of appropriate visa). Morning refreshments and lunch are included. The event is appropriate for ages 12 through adult.
