Carroll Community College Announces June Adult Education Events
Westminster, Md.—Carroll Community College’s Adult Education Program will offer a variety of events in June to assist students who wish to prepare to obtain the equivalent of a high school diploma. Pre-registration is required.
Practice Test
Adult Education will hold an official GED practice test on June 4 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The location is Carroll Community College at 1601 Washington Road in Westminster. The practice test is half the length of the actual GED test. Students receive their scores on test day. The cost is $20.
Orientations
Adult Education will hold an orientation on Family Literacy Classes about obtaining a high school diploma on June 8 and 9 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Attendance is required on both days .The location is the Carroll County Family Center at 10 Distillery Drive in Westminster. Early childhood education is available for children of participating parents. The orientation is free.
Adult Education offers daytime and evening high school diploma programs for adults, including both GED preparation classes and the National External Diploma Program. An orientation will be held on June 14 and 15 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Attendance is required on both days. The location is the Adult Education Office at 224 North Center Street in Westminster. The program is free. Additional dates and times for this orientation are June 27 and 28 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., and attendance is required on both days.  Also, this orientation will be held June 29 and 30 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. and attendance is required on both days.
