Carroll County Economic Development Summit Held at Carroll Community College
Westminster, Md., Commissioners Doug Howard and David Roush presided over a gathering of local economic development and business officials at the Economic Development Summit at Carroll Community College on Wednesday, July 13.
Howard presented an overview and strategic direction for county economic development. Group discussions included corporate retention and business assistance; business attraction and marketing; small business and entrepreneurship; and locating a business and the development process. The summit closed with a summary of recommendations and ideas to move economic development forward in the county.
