Carroll Community College To Feature Author Jack O'Neill for Book Discussion
Carroll Community College will feature Jack O'Neill, author of "Echelon - Somebody's Listening" at a book discussion on Thursday, Nov. 2, 2006, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in Room L287. This event is free and open to the public. Echelon is the code name of the National Security Agency's global eavesdropping system and the book is a factually based story of four segments of society as they respond to a sudden act of terror.
O'Neill has worked for the National Academy of Engineering and in the White House
during the Carter and Reagan administrations. He has collaborated in the design of some of the most sophisticated eavesdropping and intelligence-gathering systems ever devised. He has appeared as an expert commentator on Fox Television News Channels "Fox News Live" and FOX and Friends. He will also appear at the Random House Book Fair on Nov. 11.
Carroll Community College is located at 1601 Washington Road, Westminster.
