Business Owners Learn from Nationally Known Speaker How to Grow Their Businesses

Westminster, Md.,--The Miller Center for Small Business at Carroll Community College is offering “Creating Profitable Connections,” a full-day training for business owners and professionals, on Friday, Oct. 18, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Due to generous local sponsorships, the registration cost is only $29 and includes morning beverages and lunch. The course number is MSB-580-A2.

Participants will learn to develop strategic alliances with other businesses in the community and create an effective referral network, learning how to generate more profit by doing business through relationships. This non-credit course is perfect for every type of business, large or small, including retail, services and home-based companies. Even non-profit organizations will benefit from assessing where and how they get their best clients and donors, and how networking can benefit the bottom line.
