Raymond I. Richardson Foundation Establishes Student Scholarship

Westminster, Md., —The Carroll Community College Foundation announces a new student scholarship, The Raymond I. Richardson Bowling Brook Preparatory School Scholarship.

The Raymond I. Richardson Foundation has made the scholarship possible for students who demonstrate financial need. The applicant must be a male student and first preference is given to former Bowling Brook Preparatory School students and staff. Additional restrictions apply. Two $4,500 scholarships will be awarded annually.

“We are pleased to make this scholarship possible through our contribution to the Carroll Community College Foundation,” said Michael Sunday, former executive director of Bowling Brook Preparatory School and Jennifer Munch, former president of the board of the Raymond I. Richardson Foundation. “This contribution is a way to continue the support that the Raymond I. Richardson Foundation has provided to countless young men in need of assistance over its 50-year history.”

“Carroll Community College is exceedingly pleased with this generous donation,” said College President Dr. Faye Pappalardo. “Donor contributions make the dream of college affordable and accessible to those who otherwise cannot afford it. I wish to wholeheartedly thank the Raymond I. Richardson Foundation.”

The Carroll Community College Foundation is a non-profit corporation that is dedicated to the development of financial resources for the college to support the educational needs of all students, businesses and the entire community.
