Loading a course cartridge:

Please check out more information on using Carroll's Blackboard by clicking into the Faculty Bb Resource tab after you login to Bb.  

Course cartridges are electronic course materials designed by textbook publishers that download directly into Bb course sites.  These cartridges usually contain content, test banks, learning activities, PowerPoint presentations, and much more. 

Make sure you know whether students will be required to purchase only new textbooks to obtain an access key, if they need to purchase the access key separately, or if the cartridge is opened and does not require any specific student access key.

1. Obtain a course cartridge download key from your textbook publisher rep
2. Click on Import Course Cartridge in the Control Panel
3. Enter the Course Cartridge Instructor Download Key in the appropriate box
4. Click on Submit
5. When the course cartridge has been loaded  you will receive an email.
