Child Development Center - Parents: Information You Need to Know
As a parent, you are invaluable to the center. We look for opportunities to involve you in our program. We offer ice cream socials, parents' nights, conferences, sharing particular skills with your child's class, and snack visits.
Daily Schedule:
Mornings
- 7:30 - 9:15 a.m. - Choices (table time/manipulatives/music)
- 9:15 - 9:30 a.m. - Clean up/bathroom
- 9:30 - 9:45 a.m. - Hug circle
- 9:45 - 10:45 a.m. - Power hour (circles, snack, centers)
- 10:45 - 11 a.m. - Clean up/bathroom
- 11 - 11:45 a.m. - Playground/walk
- 11:45 a.m. - noon - Goodbye/storytime
- Noon - Dismissal for pre-school
- 12:30 p.m. - Dismissal for half day
Afternoons
- Noon - 12:45 p.m. - Lunch
- 12:45 p.m. - Bathroom break
- 1 - 3 p.m. - Nap (for full-day children)

Inclement Weather
The center adheres to the college weather closing and opening announcements. The county needs time to clean the parking lots and walks for safe access, so parents and children should arrive as close to the opening time as possible. The staff arrives 15 minutes prior to opening to prepare. Please arrive at the announced time so that the staff is ready to receive your children.
