Remember, no college campus is a haven from crime, so be security conscious. Carroll Community College encourages the accurate and prompt reporting of all crimes, emergencies, and suspicious persons or conditions to our Administration Office or the Office of Campus Safety and Security.
Campus Safety and Security Officers patrol our campus and will investigate and report all crimes and incidents for proper action. Officers also enforce parking regulations and issue parking violation tickets. These uniformed officers work closely with jurisdiction police officers who quickly respond for back-up and/or arrest procedures when notified by College personnel or when requested by a victim of a crime. In the event of student unrest not requiring police assistance, Campus Safety and Security officers escort student(s) to the Office of Academic Services for student disciplinary action as appropriate. Security officers also provide escort service to vehicles on an as needed basis.
A record of criminal investigative reports is maintained in the Office of Campus Safety and Security in an Investigative Reports Campus Security Binder for the public to review.

The College has installed several Code Blue emergency call boxes on the campus parking lots. Large signs and blue and red lights mark the locations of the emergency boxes. These emergency call boxes place a call to an emergency phone at the Information Center where security personnel are immediately dispatched. As an additional safeguard, each call box is equipped with a strobe light that will flash when a message is transmitted. This will enable the responding college personnel to better locate the box from which the call has been placed. If assistance is required in the event of an emergency, go to the nearest call box and follow the instructions printed on the box. A Campus Safety and Security officer or a campus administrator will provide assistance. The emergency call boxes are operational during campus operating hours.
