Located in the Scott Center Building at Carroll Community College's Washington Road campus in Westminster, Maryland

The Miller Small Business Resource Center (the Miller Center) is a one-stop resource for small businesses and entrepreneurs seeking peer relationships, training and state-of-the-art technology. 

The center offers a large conference room, computer classroom, resource library and training facility with Smart Classroom capability (laptop guided overhead projection system).

Whether you're doing research on the latest trends or are interested in development and continuing education for your business, it's all here!

How we can help you get started and/or grow your business

• Non-credit and credit courses provided on campus and at the Sykesville Center (see Non-Credit Class Schedules )
• Personalized training and course creation for local businesses, local business associations and chambers of commerce (see Miller Center Contract Courses )
• Online resources and databases including Reference USA, shortcuts to over 25 basic federal, state and local government websites and private business websites geared to assist small businesses and entrepreneurs
• Books on business development and access to more than 700 business-related books and periodicals available in the college library
• Current periodicals including Baltimore Business Journal, Entrepreneur and more
• Business "mentoring" referrals to local business and governmental experts
• Referrals to Start Up Carroll for personal consultation (consultation provided to fledgling businesses located in Carroll County by a group of affiliate business owners in all areas of general business)
• Use of color laser printer, conference room facilities and computer usage (see Miller Center facilities )
• General assistance and peer guidance in all areas of business development and growth.

Hours

The Miller Center is staffed by a part time manager and open to the public during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, and by appointment.
