Computer Support Specialist

Computer support specialists are trained to work within an IT department in a variety of roles, including helpdesk technician, computer repair technician, computer network administrator and network security administrator.

They are employed by companies from various industry sectors. Companies often need staff to maintain, support, repair and install computers and computer networking equipment and ensure security within company computer networks.

Hours are often standard daytime with some evening and weekend flexibility required depending on the employer.
