Locksmiths perform such tasks as cutting new or duplicate keys, using key cutting machines, inserting new or repaired tumblers into locks to change combinations, disassembling mechanical or electrical locking devices, and repairing or replacing worn tumblers, springs, and other parts, using hand tools.
