ASP.NET Using Visual Studio

Build database driven Web sites using ASP.NET with Visual Studio. Learn to use server controls, add VB.NET or C# code to a form; develop multi-page Web applications and master pages; create and use data controls; apply session and application variables and validation controls; debug your application, implement cookies to store information, use the site navigation, grid view and ad-rotator controls; create pages to upload files to a Web server; and develop pages that retrieve, update, delete and insert data using a database.

This is an instructor led, group-paced, classroom course with structured hands-on activities.

To enroll, you must be familiar with Microsoft Windows, HTML and CSS. Programming and database (SQL) experience would be helpful.

Instructor Bill Warburton is a computer information systems assistant professor at Carroll.  He has a master's degree in Business and Management Information Systems and over 15 years of industry experience in computer programming and systems analysis.
