Network+ Certification
The CompTIA Network+ Certification course prepares entry-level computer support professionals for the CompTIA Network+ certification exam and a career in network support or administration. This instructor led, group-paced, online course provides plenty of hands-on activities for you to identify and describe all the major networking technologies, systems, skills, and tools in use in modern PC-based computer networks, and learn information and skills in preparation for the CompTIA Network+ certification exam.
A+ Certification or similar experience is required upon registering for the course.
The online class provides many of the lessons, materials and labs via the Web, and offers plenty of instructor interaction from the online classroom and four on-campus sessions.
To enroll in the course, you must have a personal computer with Internet access, be familiar with Windows based personal computers and components, be able to search on the Internet, and understand file management in Windows (cut, copy, paste and rename files). Broadband Internet access is recommended.
Instructor Wade Johansen is a computer systems engineer with over 25 years of systems engineering and network security experience. He holds over 25 IT certifications, including CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and Certified Internet Webmaster (CIW).
