The CompTIA Security+ Certification course provides information technology professionals who have networking and administrative skills in Windows-based TCP/IP networks with a foundational knowledge of security topics for the CompTIA Security+ Certification examination or prepare for advanced security certifications.

This instructor led, group-paced, classroom course provides plenty of hands-on activities for you to implement and monitor security on networks and computer systems, and respond to security breaches.

Network+ Certification or similar experience is required upon registering for the course.

Instructor Wade Johansen is a computer systems engineer with over 25 years of systems engineering and network security experience.  He holds over 25 IT certifications, including CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and Certified Internet Webmaster (CIW).
