Veterinary CSI (ages 12 - 15)
What do you do when you find a dog hit by a car? Use your detective skills to assess the injuries and learn what you can do to help. Explore diagnostic tools, treatment procedures, and animal handling in a veterinary setting. Learn hands-on skills like how to bandage an injured limb and use a stethoscope to diagnose conditions of the heart, lungs and abdomen. Television and Screen Acting (ages 12 - 15)
From the first time you said let’s pretend, you were learning to act. Yet the art of acting is a true craft, one that the masters learn, practice and hone. The greatest actors take the audience on a journey with them. Learn auditioning, scene blocking, understanding context, learning lines, script reading, working with a director and the camera refining each and every take. Special emphasis focuses on commercial shots, television and movie scenes, and the use of improv as a learning technique.
