Veterinary CSI

What do you do when you find a dog that was hit by a car? Follow the case of the animal as you learn how to diagnose conditions, and explore treatment procedures including possible surgery. Learn to use a stethoscope to hear the heart and lungs. View and interpret real x-rays of an injured dog. Take a look at how specialized equipment is used for injured animals and learn about the nursing care a recovering animal needs. Includes a trip to a local animal hospital to see the real deal. Attempt to design a better roller coaster, launch a rocket higher and farther than before, measure how far your trebuchet or catapult will throw a marshmallow, build a circuit to power a radio and create objects using a 3-D printer. This camp is for those who completed Vet CSI 1 and are ready for the next level. Learn about animal anatomy and how everything works together in the healthy animal.
