Free Income Tax Preparation
Carroll Community College will be preparing income tax returns for eligible students and staff through the IRS's Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program. Returns are prepared, free of charge, by trained and certified Student Tax Assistors from February 28th - April 15th, 2005 .
The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program offers free assistance to those with low-to-moderate incomes, including persons with disabilities and the elderly. Taxpayers who file Form 1040EZ, Form 1040A, or basic Form 1040 Federal tax returns are qualified to take advantage of this service.
Scheduling an appointment
All tax preparation is by appointment.
To schedule an appointment, contact Joyce Eckart at 410-386-8242 (Room P501) between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Both day and evening appointments are available.

Wage and earning statements (W-2) from all employers

Interest statements from banks (Form 1099)
