Annual Spring Job Fair
The 2008 Annual Job Fair is scheduled for Wednesday, April 9, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. in the Great Hall. The Job Fair helps students and community members who are seeking employment to meet a variety of local employers. Often, job seekers are not aware of the local employers in their community. The event provides an opportunity for students and community members to network, discover local employers and major industries, and explore careers.
"Job Fairs benefit employers through opportunities for marketing their companies to students who may not be familiar with them. Employers meet students in a more relaxed environment, while learning about what they have to offer," said Barbara Gregory, Coordinator of Career Development at Carroll.
A week before the Job Fair, a handout will be available detailing where employers will be located in the Great Hall.
A list of confirmed participants appears below and will be updated periodically. This enables job seekers to perform preliminary research on the employers. Job seekers should come prepared for possible on-site interviews by being appropriately dressed and carrying updated resumes.
