Testing Timeline for New Students

Testing and registration for spring is on-going until classes begin on Monday, Jan. 30 or until classes fill. To ensure your first choice of classes at the most convenient days and times for you, test and register early. Appointments for placement testing are required. To schedule an appointment, call the Admissions Office at 410-386-8430.

Presidents' Day Open House

Monday, Feb. 20
Check in: 12:45 - 1p.m.
Program: 1 - 4 p.m.

Attend this special program for high school students and their parents, scheduled when Carroll County Public Schools is closed for the holiday. Featured sessions include:

• What to expect during the first year of college
• Transfer options and planning for the next step
• Careers and majors - beginning the decision making process
• Admissions and Financial Aid process
• Faculty staffed information tables
• College tour

Fall 2012 New Student Registration

Fall 2012 registration for new students begins on Thursday, April 19 and is on-going until classes begin on Monday, Aug. 27. Classes fill quickly, so do not delay. You may meet with an Admissions Counselor for course approvals prior to the start of registration.

• Consider earning a degree and transferring to a four-year institution - better learning support at  half the cost
• Continuing Education training opportunities - get a job, keep a job
• Learn about Adult Education programs (GED, EDP and ESOL)

Drop in from 6 – 8 p.m. to speak with faculty and staff about credit and non-credit options.

• Visit information tables - faculty are available to answer your questions regarding majors, jobs, etc. Make sure to ask!
• Tour the college - feeling comfortable on a college campus is one of the most important factors in your college success. We highly recommend that you visit/tour any college prior to enrolling!

Campus Tours

By Appointment Only

Contact the Admissions Office at 410-386-8430 or at admissions@carrollcc.edu to arrange for a private or group tour. E-mail requests should include a day and time that works with your schedule. Tours are normally scheduled and confirmed with 24 - 28 hours’ notice.
