  • Explore academic programs
  • Consider earning a degree and transferring to a four-year institution - better learning support at  half the cost
  • Learn about Adult Education programs (GED, EDP and ESOL)
  • Speak with Business Employment Recourse Center (BERC) representatives

Drop in from 6 – 8 p.m. to speak with faculty and staff about credit and non-credit options.

  • Visit information tables - faculty will be available to answer your questions regarding majors, jobs, etc. Make sure to ask!
  • Tour the college - feeling comfortable on a college campus is one of the most important factors when attending a college. We highly recommended that you tour the college prior to enrolling!

Hill Scholars Information Night

Tuesday, Nov. 9, 6 - 7:30 p.m.

Learn about our selective admission, honors cohort program, for first-year college students. It's made up of honors courses linked by a common theme, seminars, and extra-curricular enrichment opportunities. We invite applications from high school's and homeschool's highest achieving students, as well as motivated non-traditional students. Please join us for additional program details on Tuesday, Nov. 9 from 6 - 7:30 p.m. RSVP by calling 410-386-8430 or e-mail hillscholars@carrollcc.edu.

Concurrent Information Session

Wednesday, Nov. 17, 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.

Learn how to earn college credit during your senior year of high school. If you are an academically strong student, you may be approved to attend college courses while still completing high school requirements. During this session, we will explain your options, the process and how to get started! Financial Aid Workshops

Carroll is offering free financial aid workshops on  Dec. 14 and Feb. 1 from 7 to 9 p.m. Each workshop provides  information on federal, state, institutional and private sources of student financial aid, as well as the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

If you plan to attend the workshop, call the Financial Aid Office at 410-386-8437 or send an e-mail to FinancialAid@carrollcc.edu. Include the names of the attendees, the student's name even if she/he student will not be attending, and a telephone number. We highly encourage potential students to attend with at least one parent.

For 11th graders considering Concurrent Enrollment during their senior year, testing early is important. This provides critical information that assists you and your high school counselor with scheduling both high school and college classes.

Presidents' Day Open House

Program: 1 - 4 p.m.

Join us for this special program for high school students and parents. This is a structured program where you will rotate through several important sessions. This Open House covers much of the basic information that both students and parents need to consider during the transition from high school to college, regardless of the college being attended. 

The program includes: 

  • Welcome & Career Awareness Activity 
  • What to expect - life in and outside of the classroom
  • Admissions & Financial Aid Information - what you need to know to get started
  • Transfer - learn out about the advantages to earning your associates degree prior to transferring to a four year institution
  • Explore major/program options in the Great Hall - tables staffed by faculty from each department
  • Tour the college - it is critical to tour the college that you are considering attending to get a sense of the environment and if it feels right for you!
Campus Tours

Tuesdays at 6 p.m. or by appointment

Registration is not required for Tuesday tours. Check-in at the Admissions Office in A101. We are located just inside the main entrance of the college, the first office on your right as you enter. A Student Ambassador will be waiting to lead the tour. Tours leave promptly at the time listed above and last 30-45 minutes.
