Spring Break : Italy and Greece

Date of departure: Friday, March 26

Course credit available: HIST-160 (1 credit) • ENGL-160  (1 credit)

To enroll in these courses, which are offered during the spring term, you must register for the trip by Saturday, Oct. 31. 

Program Fee Includes:

  • Round trip air fare
  • 8 overnight stays in hotels with private bathrooms
  • European breakfast daily
  • 3 dinners
  • Full-time bilingual EF Tour Director
  • All tours led by a licensed local guide

EF Tours Registration Fee:  $95 (waived if you have traveled with EF before) 

Carroll Community College Travel Study Fee:  $25

Program Fee:  $2,150

Airport Fees*:  $439 - approximate       

Weekend Supplement: $70

Medical Insurance*: $65

Private Bus Fee: $160 (waived if we have more than 40 travelers)

*EF medical insurance required for all participants

Total:

$3,004  (age 22 and younger)

Adult Supplement: $410 (for over age 22)

Total for those over 22: $3,314

Schedule:

Day 1 - Overnight flight to Italy.

Day 2 -  Arrive in Rome. 

Day 3 -  Rome - Take a guided tour of Vatican City: Visit the Sistine Chapel and St Peter's Basilica. Take a guided tour of Rome: Forum Romanum and the Roman Colosseum. Take a walking tour of Rome: Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon .

Day 4 - Rome. Enjoy a free day in Rome. Optional excursion: Florence.

Day 5 - Capri - Sorrento. Take a guided tour of Capri. Take an island cruise.

Day 6 - Pompeii - Brindisi - Night Ferry. Travel to Pompeii . Visit the Roman ruins. Continue on to Brindisi. Board an overnight ferry to Patras.
Day 7 - Patras - Delphi.

Day 8 - Delphi - Athens. Take a guided tour of Delphi . Visit the Delphi Museum.

Day 9 - Athens. Visit the Acropolis: Parthenon and the Temple of Athena Nike. Take a walking tour of Athens.

Day 10 - Depart for home.
