2011 Annual Random House Book Fair benefitting the
Carroll Community College Foundation
The Random House Book Fair is devoted to literacy and education, and helps to raise much needed funding for student scholarships at Carroll.
The event offers a variety of activities and sponsorship opportunities.
Friday, March 4 - Kick-Off Events
1:30 - 4:30 p.m. - Senior Citizen Activities (to be determined)
4:30 and 7 p.m. - Movie (to be determined)
Saturday, March 5
9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Food, fun and entertainment for all ages.
Free and open to the public.

- Random House authors book talks and signings
- Silent auction
- Student writing contest winners announced
- Children's story time
- Family literacy resource area
- Free children's books
- Kid's activity area (admission fee required)
Student Writing Contest
If you like to write consider entering your favorite poem or short story. Carroll County students in grades 1 through 12 are eligible. Contest Criteria and Registration Form.
Sponsorship Opportunities
Our continued success is made possible by the generous support of the community. The proceeds from the Book Fair directly impact our students. Since its inception in 1997, the event has raised over $280,000 for student scholarships. Sponsorship opportunities are available.
