Travel Program - Italy

    Travel and Study for College Credit

    Carroll students can earn up to three credits in one of several disciplines. With the help of a faculty mentor, students choose a topic of special interest to study on site. Course requirements may include reading texts, viewing films, journaling, writing an essay and giving a presentation.

    Travel for Fun

    Students, faculty, staff and community members can travel as Lifelong Learning students. This trip is open to everyone, including family members. Travelers under the age of 18 must be accompanied and completely supervised by an adult family member. The cost to register as a Life Long Learning student is $25 (in-county registration fee).

    College Registration Fee: $25, due Dec. 1

    Travel Cost: $3,598

    Estimated meal costs: $200-250 per person

    Deposit, Registration, and Payment Schedule

    DEPOSIT & TRIP REGISTRATION 

    Registration will open on September 1, 2017. Please check back on September 1st to register.  

    Early registration is encouraged (early September). In the past, Carroll Community College's travel study trips have sold out by mid-September.

    PAYMENT

    Deposit: $525

    Due to Witte Tours by Nov. 1, 2017

    Travelers who register by Oct. 1 will be entered into a drawing for a $350 trip discount.

    Trips have sold out before Oct. 1st in the past. Early registration is recommended.  

    First Payment: $1600

    Due to Witte Tours by Jan 1, 2018

    Final Payment: $1473

    Due to Witte Tours by Feb. 15, 2018 

    Registration and payments for the trip are handled directly by Witte Tours and can be completed online beginning on September 1st. A link to the registration form will be posted at that time.

    The final payment and final payment deadline may vary slightly. Please check Witte Tours materials for exact amount and deadline.
