Apply for Admission

When a student makes the decision to apply to college, there are several questions that arise.

  • How do I apply for admission and when?
  • What is placement testing?
  • How do I select my courses?
  • What are the expectations in the classroom?

The Admissions, Advising and Counseling Center provides answers to these questions and much more.

Community colleges differ from their four-year counterparts in that the college operates on a rolling admissions basis. There are no admissions deadlines or application fees. Before you take Credit courses or begin your degree at Carroll Carroll Community College (Carroll), you'll need to apply for admission.

To apply for admission, you need to complete a Credit Enrollment Application form:
Download an Enrollment Application form
Return the completed form to us by mail, fax, or in person.

You may also pick up a form in our Admissions Office, or use the Enrollment Application form found in the back of your printed Credit Class Schedule booklet. Complete the application and follow the steps to admission. You will be on your way to becoming a credit student at Carroll.

Carroll  prides itself on accessibility to the community. Carroll currently offers almost 50 academic programs allowing students to obtain certificates, letters of recognition, or associate degrees.

Carroll offers a variety of pre-admission services to assist students in making decisions about the college: high school visits, college fairs, college open house days, individual appointments, and pre-advising opportunities.

Carroll works closely with area high schools, the Career and Technology Center, local businesses, community organizations, and resource centers, to provide access to Carroll's programs.

Carroll also offers a number of special and unique admission programs , including those for international students, advanced placement programs, credit for prior learning, and other options for qualified applicants. Please contact an advisor for full information.
