Visit the Admissions Office

If you have completed 12 credits at another college/university, scored above 550 on the verbal or math SAT, or 21 on the verbal or math ACT, you may be eligable to bypass some or all of the placement tests.

Send official documentation to the college and consult with an admissions professional in room A 101. Walk-in assistance is available Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Admissions Office.

Sign-up for the First Advising Session - receive your test results

Receive your placement test results at a First Advising Session, which is typically within a week after taking the test(s). Appointments are required. You can schedule your First Advising Session when you take your placement test(s) or call the Testing Center to arrange an appointment.

First Advising Sessions are conducted in a small group or virtual format. If you choose the virtual format, your test results and instructions will be sent to you electronically. If you choose the group format, an advisor spends approximately an hour providing essential advising, transfer and registration information; explains your test results and assists you with course selection. Either option requires you to meet with an academic advisor prior to registering for classes for the first time. If you complete the virtual session, you may visit the Advising and Transfer Center anytime during drop in hours to register. All high school students should visit the Admissions Office, in A-101 to register. Parents are welcome to attend.
