Transferring from Carroll
More than 80% of Carroll Community College students are enrolled in transfer programs. Students can start coursework here and chart a course towards a rewarding educational future. Carroll offers special assistance in transfer planning for students. Services available include transfer resources and information, transfer fairs and field trips, and individual advising by appointment. Contact the Admissions, Advising and Counseling Center in A-102.
How to Transfer from Carroll
- Choose freshman and sophomore-level courses to fit your major and transfer institution.
- Usually the transfer school will not evaluate your Carroll transcript until after you apply to their school. Towson, University of Baltimore, UMUC and a few other colleges will give you unofficial evaluations either on the Carroll campus during a scheduled visit or at their campus by appointment.
- Complete associate degree requirements.
- Apply to your transfer institution on time! The early bird gets the scholarship money.
- Send your Carroll transcript when you apply. Transcripts may be requested in the Records Office. $2.00 per transcript.
- Send another transcript when you complete your last semester at Carroll.
- You will be ntofied by the transfer institution about next steps.
