  • Carroll County Public Schools' Articulation Agreements: Students who have completed a Career Connections (vocational program in the Carroll County Public Schools for Administrative Assistant, Computer Technology, Drafting, Early Childhood Education, Print Production, or Technical Support/Net working) may receive Carroll credit. See guidance counselors at the high school (or Career and Tech Center) to obtain a proof of completion and articulation form. High school grade and attendance restrictions apply. Please consult the Catalog for specific articulation information.
  • CLEP (College-Level Examination Program): Carroll awards credits for CLEP exam performance. Review the College Policy, Credit for Prior Learning , for test to course equivalents. Contact The College Board to have official CLEP scores forwarded to Carroll at 800-257-9558 or visit the The College Board  web site to download a request form. While Carroll Community College is not a CLEP test site, the Carroll Admissions, Advising, and Counseling Center (room A102) has CLEP registration information.
  • Credit by Exam: Students interested in earning credit via Carroll's Credit by Exam program should meet with the appropriate faculty chair. See the Catalog for established Credit by Exam courses. Please note: credits earned by this method are not transferable.
  • Credits from other colleges and universities: Please forward official transcripts to the Records Office for evaluation. Only credit applicable to a Carroll program of study will be accepted. Credits will be posted after the student enrolls in Carroll coursework. Complete an External Transcript Request Form to have transcripts (high school or college) forwarded to Carroll's Record's Office. Contact your former institution to inquire about fees. Please note: Transcripts must be opened by college staff to be considered official. (External Transcript Request Form PDF--link in progress)
