The Mission Which Drives Us

Carroll is committed to providing equal access to its programs, facilities and services for students with disabilities in accordance with Section 504 of the Vocational Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA).

The college offers an array of support services and accommodations that are post-secondary appropriate and are coordinated by the Office of ADA Support Services.

The Office of ADA Support Services:
  1. Promotes the success, dignity and independence of students with disabilities; helps to develop awareness of disability-related needs, self-advocacy strategies and develop good academic behavior.
  2. Works with students with disabilities and other professionals to determine the need and the facilitation of reasonable accommodations and support services.
  3. Collaborates to educate faculty, staff and others regarding students with disabilities.
