Available Services
The Office of ADA Support Services may provide the following special services upon request with advanced notice.
- Pre-admission and pre-enrollment planning
- Specialized placement testing
- Course scheduling
- Liaison with the Maryland State Department of Education, Division of Rehabilitation Services and other appropriate agencies
- Specialized individual orientation to campus, as needed
- Liaison to faculty
- General counseling
- Accommodated testing
- Classroom learning strategies
Other services, as designated appropriate.
- Interpreting for deaf/hearing-impaired
- Peer note sharing
- Classroom accessibility accommodations
- Referral to other agencies
- Individual mobility and assistive technology orientation
