The position of ASSISTANT
DIRECTOR OF DATA ANALYTICS FOR ENROLLMENT AND COMPLETION is available in
the Division of Student Affairs. This
position is on a full-time, 12-month basis, working under the supervision of
the Senior Director of Records and Student Data Analytics.
FUNCTION: Responsible for data analytics
of the student experience from prospect to graduate within the Student Affairs
Division, implementation of retention and completion efforts, and creation of
assessment plans and reports within the Student Affairs Division. Specific
duties include: supporting Student
Affairs division projects and processes; developing reporting tools, analytics
and reports for the division; supporting and assessing retention programs to
support student degree completion efforts; managing Self-Service (Student
Planning and Student Finance) as it relates to the use in the Student Affairs
Division; partnering with various campus departments to improve student
retention; developing assessment plans for the Student Affairs Division and
serving as a committee member for the Student Affairs Assessment Team; using
available software and instrumentation, writing and validating reports for
assessment plans for the Student Affairs division; serving as student affairs
representative for campus wide data and assessment committees, including Data
Governance; managing project implementation of a Customer Relationship
Management System (CRM) to assist with communication and outreach to
prospective students; assisting in developing and analyzing event analytics for
the Student Affairs Division to determine highest yield and most effective
events; supporting online application and data entry workflow to support
automation in Admissions, Financial Aid and Testing; serving on other college
committees and performing other duties as assigned.
degree and two years’ experience working directly with college assessment,
reporting software and analytics, preferably in student affairs.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience of project management, assessment
planning, reporting instrumentation and data validation. Extensive knowledge of
Ellucian/Datatel/Colleague, including query building in WebIntelligence or the
equivalent is required. One evening a week and occasional weekends will be
11 on the 12-month salary scale with a starting salary range of $48,737 with
actual salary placement based on credentials. Excellent benefit package.
