Press Release:

Carroll Community College (Carroll) is teaming up with local businesses and entrepreneurs to bring a robust drone pilot training program to Carroll County. The comprehensive training program models the path an individual would take to obtain a private pilot’s license.

Carroll has partnered with experts from Dream Flight School to conduct a complete ground school training program that will prepare students to fly a drone and pass the FAA knowledge test using the same training techniques they use to prepare private pilots.

Local business leader, entrepreneur and drone pilot Josh Kohn, will provide hands-on instruction and demonstrate how to operate a drone safely and efficiently. Students will have two full days behind the controls of a drone, practicing basic to advanced maneuvers and learning how to  operate their drones.
