College life offers many opportunities for you to develop an awareness of your rights and responsibilities as a Carroll student. As such, Carroll students created the Student Government Organization (SGO), of which you are a member because of the activities fee you pay each semester. As a member, you may run for office. Elections are held each semester.
The Campus Activities Board (CAB) organizes a variety of events for students. Activities include on-campus entertainment such as films, social events, musicians and the annual Crab Feast. The club also plans trips to regional cities. If you are interested in becoming a CAB member or a member of the Street Team to publicize events, sign-up in the Student Life Office.
There are also opportunities for leadership development and service-learning, as well as a variety of student clubs and organizations to join. This list is by no means complete! You can start a club with other interested students.
You can always view the student activities and programs or college events calendar for important dates and upcoming activities.
