Student Activities Finance Board

The Student Activities Finance Board (SAFB) works closely with the Student Government Organization Board (SGO) and is responsible for allocating funds to clubs and organizations. Budget requests are prepared by campus clubs and organizations and are presented to the SGO Board. The Board then determines the appropriateness of the requests, which may be forwarded to the SAFB for review and possible fund allocation.

The SAFB is composed of students, faculty and staff, all appointed by the SGO Board. The SAFB is chaired by the Director of Co-Curricular and First-Year Programs.

All student clubs will receive SAFB budget request packets in their club mailboxe in April 2009. The next SAFB hearings will be held on May 2009.  If your student club would like to request funds for unanticipated expenses during the 2008-2009 academic year, contact the Director of Co-curricular and First Year Programs, Michelle Lenhart, at 410-386-8408 or mlenhart@carrollcc.edu  to arrange a meeting.
