The majority of students are required to take placement tests in English, Reading and Math prior to the first time they register for coursework at Carroll. These tests assess readiness for college level coursework; and determine eligibility for course enrollment. As a prospective student, you must schedule an appointment to take entry-level placement tests. Allow two-and-a half to three hours for testing.

Click here for preparation information. Be sure to bring a photo I.D. with you or you will not be allowed to test.

In addition, instructors use the Testing Center for make-up exams. It can also be used for proctored testing. Distance Learning students may be directed here for exams and timed assignments. You may be exempt based on SAT/ACT scores.
