Info for Veterans & Military

Carroll Supports the Military

Carroll welcomes all military-affiliated students, including veterans, active duty personnel, National Guard and Reserve personnel and their families. Once you decide to come to Carroll (or if you have questions), you’ll meet with our specialized military-affiliated and non-traditional student Admissions Counselor.

In addition to participating in GI Bill® and military tuition payment options, Carroll offers academic and social support to ease the transition from military service to academics.

When a military-affiliated student completes the on-line application to Carroll Community College, various offices within the Student Affairs Division, e.g. Admissions, Academic Advising, Financial Aid, will coordinate with each other to help you layout the pathway to your academic goal. These various offices will provide support helping you select a degree program, provide information to use your VA educational benefits, offer other methods to assist with additional funding, or sit down with our Disability Support Services director – we are here to help!

Checklist for new student veterans
