The Entertainment industry has historically been one of the most stable job providers, even in times of deep economic downturn.
Carroll’s Entertainment Technology program provides the opportunity for students who are already working within the field to earn educational credentials, as well as a pathway for students who are preparing for entry-level positions in this field.
The Entertainment Technology degree will also transfer to 4-year universities, giving students the option of pursuing other STEM-related fields. Because 4-year institutions vary in their requirements, Carroll Community College students are expected to check with their chosen transfer institution and consult an academic advisor at Carroll.
The major benefit of hiring a technician with an associate degree is that he or she is specifically trained to support the technical needs of a production. Through hands-on experience working alongside experienced technicians, students can hone their skills with companies who may someday employ them.
Carroll’s faculty are scholars, researchers and distinguished leaders, selected based on their industry experience, academic excellence and passion for teaching. They possess a wealth of skills and knowledge to share with you throughout your pursuit of an Entertainment Technology degree.
