Campus Police

Carroll Community College’s Campus Police

  • Campus Police is staffed by highly trained personnel, including seven full-time, sworn special police officers and several part-time special police officers and public safety officers.
  • Officers respond to, investigate, and report all crimes and incidents for proper action. To prevent crime and enforce college policies, officers provide routine vehicle and foot patrols, enforce parking regulations, issue parking citations, and provide escort service for individuals to vehicles when required or requested.
  • The Campus Police Office is located in A137 in the A Building.

Mediation Center

  • Resolve Conflicts Productively. The CCCMC offers free conflict coaching, mediation, and facilitation services to county residents at times and locations convenient to participants (*now including virtual appts). We also offer professional training in conflict management, which can be catered to your organization’s needs.
  • The Mediation Center provides a safe and neutral environment for people who are experiencing conflict with families, friends, neighbors, landlords, tenants, businesses, consumers, co-workers or within organizations.

  • The Carroll Food Locker Program (CFLP) offers grocery assistance to Carroll Community College faculty, staff, and students in need.
  • All students, credit and non-credit, who are registered for the current semester and current faculty and staff can participate. No financial information is required to determine eligibility.
  • To sign up for the Food Locker, please email studentlife@carrollcc.edu. Food items vary from week to week, but primarily consist of canned foods, dry goods, and limited amounts of frozen meats and produce.
  • We also have a limited supply of hygiene products. Clients can sign up for an appointment by emailing studentlife@carrollcc.edu or calling 410-386-8500.
  • The Food Locker is located on the lower level of the Great Hall, under the stairs and across from the vending machines.

Sexual Misconduct/Title IX

  • Title IX is a federal civil right that prohibits sex discrimination in education. it is a prohibition against sex-based discrimination in education. It addresses discrimination against pregnant and parenting students and gender discrimination in educational programs. It also addresses sexual harassment, gender-based discrimination, and sexual violence. Title IX applies to all students, faculty, and staff.
