On May 7, 2018, 10 students completed the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Apprentice Program at Carroll Community College. To successfully complete the program, students had to complete 630 hours of classroom training and over 8,000 hours of on the job training over the course of four years. Dr. James Ball, President of Carroll Community College, provided opening remarks and the Secretary of the Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation, Kelly M. Schulz, was the ceremony’s keynote speaker. All the completers earned 24 credits towards an Associate of Arts Degree at Carroll Community College.
