Westminster, Md., Tuesday, September 17, 2019 – Carroll Community College announces its Phlebotomy Technician Workforce Training Certificate Completers.  After 168 hours of classroom and clinical training, these students have officially completed their training. Phlebotomy technicians work in clinical laboratory settings, hospitals and sometimes physicians' offices. Their primary responsibility is to collect blood specimens as ordered by the physician. Hours may span day, evening, night and weekend shifts depending on the facility. To learn more visit:
