Westminster, Md., May 13, 2019—Carroll
Community College will hold a free Health Care Career Training Information Session
on Thursday, May 28, 6 p.m.
– 7:30 p.m. This session will be held
online. Attendees will receive an
overview of the College’s non-credit health care career training programs and learn
how to be job ready in as little as two months.
program managers will provide insight into high-demand, health care training
programs including: Assisted Living Manager, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA),
Dental Assistant, EKG Technician, Emergency Medical Technician, Medical
Assistant, Medical Biller, Medical Coder, Medical Transcription Editor, Medicine
Aide, Pharmacy Technician, Phlebotomy Technician and Sterile Processing
Attendees can find
out about program requirements, class schedules and resources available to help
pay for training.
Workforce Development Sequence Scholarships may be available for approved training
programs for qualified students.
