Description:

CARROLL COMMUNITY COLLEGE is currently seeking adjunct faculty to teach continuing education students in the 27-hour Introduction to Electronic Health Records course approximately twice per year. Evening hours required.

Candidates must possess the technical competency, skills and experience using electronic health records in various healthcare settings. Specifically, experience using the EHR in physician’s offices preferred.

Adjuncts must hold a degree or special certification in a healthcare, healthcare informatics or related field and have extensive experience in that field.  Strong presentation and communication skills are a must. Experience teaching in a virtual, online environment preferred. Familiarity with the Canvas learning management system is a plus. 

In order to qualify for employment, candidates must successfully complete a criminal background check.
